The Hanwha SM482 PLUS Multi-functional Placer is a powerful High Precision Placer developed for modern SMT Pick & Place operations. As part of Hanwha’s SM series, this Flying Vision Placer delivers up to 30,000 CPH throughput using a 1-gantry, 6-spindle configuration and relies on both fly and fixed cameras for unmatched placement control.
With placement accuracy of ±40 µm @ ±3σ for chip components and ±30 µm @ ±3σ for QFP components, this Multi-functional Placer excels in precision even under demanding conditions. The Polygon Recognition capability allows complex or irregular-shaped components to be registered easily, boosting flexibility for mixed component types.
