The JUKI JM-100 Multi-Task Platform is an advanced SMT Insertion Machine engineered for rapid, precise component insertion in modern electronics assembly. As part of JUKI’s insertion family, the JM-100 Multi-Task Platform supports both vacuum and gripper nozzles, with insertion times down to 0.6 seconds (vacuum) or 0.8 seconds (gripper).  

It includes a “Takumi head” with multiple recognition heights, enabling flexible handling of components with varying shapes, sizes, and materials. Vision centering and laser indexing can be selected based on application: laser for high-speed small parts, vision when lead or ball inspection is needed, or for larger components. This makes it a versatile component insertion system.  

Supported board sizes (single clamp): 50×50 mm up to 410×360 mm; with dual clamps (2-times clamping) up to 800×360 mm. The machine supports PCBs up to 4 kg, component height up to 30 mm, and component recognition ranges: laser 0603 to 50×50 mm, vision 3×3 mm to 50×50 mm. Placement accuracy: ±0.05 mm (laser 3σ), ±0.04 mm (vision).  

This insertion machine is ideal for mixed-component designs, integration of automated insertion into SMT lines, and applications that combine insertion and SMT processes. The JUKI JM-100 multi-task insertion platform reduces cycle time, improves insertion accuracy, and enhances flexibility in high-mix production environments.
